Online services

You can use online services at the surgery to book an appointment, order a repeat prescription, get a sick certificate, get test results, ask about a non-urgent medical problem and view your medical record.

How to access healthcare at the surgery – using an online form

The best way to access medical services is to use our eConsult service. This allows the clinical team to prioritise your needs.

What is eConsult and how does it work?

The form you complete will be reviewed by a clinician and they will call/text or email you ( usually before 11am that day ).

This could be a face to face or telephone appointment, a prescription or to signpost you to another more appropriate healthcare professional, for example, a dentist or an optician.

Please note: if requesting a prescription through eConsult this can take up to 48 working hours. Also, requesting a prescription or sick line this does not guarantee this will be issued by the GP, it is the patients responsibility to check after 48 working hours if the prescription has been issued or declined. Please contact your nominated pharmacy to check this in the first instance.

Patient Access

Use your Patient Access account (on the Patient Access website or in the Patient Access app) to:

  • Order a repeat prescription
  • Get your test results
  • View your medical record

See Registering for online services on how to register for this service.

Registering for online services

To register for online repeat prescriptions via Patient Access please visit reception for an access code.
Patients do not need to register to book appointments online or view their medical records online.

Registering for someone else on their behalf

You can register for someone else on their behalf (proxy access) if you are a carer or relative.

To register on behalf of someone else, complete the online proxy access request form. You can also download the form and bring it into the practice.

Proxy access needs to be authorised by a GP. The practice will phone or text you to confirm the request has been authorised.

You will then need to bring photo ID and proof of your address to the surgery, where the receptionist will set up your proxy access.
