Mrs Kerry Denholm, our advanced nurse practitioner offers daily appointments for patients who have minor illnesses such as an earache, sore throats, chest infections, urinary tract infections, diarrhoea and vomiting and rashes. Our advanced nurse practitioners are also able to deal with more complex illnesses. Our advanced nurse practitioner is an important member of the practice team taking on some of the more routine tasks that used to be done by a doctor.

Kerry is highly competent and has undertaken specific minor illness training. The advanced nurse practitioner follows practice guidelines and will always refer you to a GP if you or they are concerned. She can also refer patients on to other services if required.
